With John Law on piano, Sam Crockatt on Saxophones, James Agg on bass and Paolo Adamo, on drums and percussion.
With appearances at over fifty festivals and with thirty albums and rising, John Law is one of the most interesting, diverse and prolific jazz pianists in Britain.
A prize-winning classical pianist in his youth, John turned away from classical piano studies to pursue jazz and improvised music but has been involved in, and acclaimed for, a wide variety of contemporary jazz and classical projects - from solo piano concerts and albums through trio and quartet tours and recordings, to large scale works for his semi-classical ensemble Cornucopia.
John Law presents his latest project playing well-known tunes from the world of jazz, classical and pop. Alongside classic jazz standards the quartet plays intriguing new arrangements of songs by The Beatles, Sting, Radiohead, Adele, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, weaving in classical works by Rossini, Satie and others.
